AD/FA-200/13 - Spin Recovery Placard - Replacement - CANCELLED

What this is: A cancellation notice for an old aircraft safety rule.

What it originally did: Issued in 1972, this rule required owners of Fuji FA-200 series aeroplanes to install a "spin recovery placard" (a cockpit warning label explaining how to recover from a dangerous spinning manoeuvre) within 30 hours of flying time after February 1972.

What it does now: Nothing. The Civil Aviation Safety Authority cancelled this directive on 2 July 2009 because all affected aircraft were modified decades ago, making the rule redundant.

Who it affects: Owners of Fuji FA-200 series aircraft (though they would have complied with the original requirement back in the 1970s).
