Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

What this does This document officially cancels (revokes) a previous safety rule called an Airworthiness Directive (a legally binding order requiring specific maintenance or inspections on aircraft).

Specifically, it cancels AD/F50/85 Amendment 1, which previously required certain actions regarding feathering pump gaskets on specific aircraft.

Who it affects Owners and operators of Fokker F50 (also known as F27 Mk 50) series aeroplanes.

Why it matters If you were following the old directive, you can stop — but only because the requirements have been moved to a newer directive (AD/F50/88 Amendment 1). This cancellation prevents duplicate or conflicting requirements. The cancellation took effect on 26 October 2007.
