Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires owners/operators of Fokker F27-050 (F50) aeroplanes S/N 20103–20108 and 20110–20117 to perform the corrective work specified in Fokker SB F50-25-005 before 30 June 1989. It was issued because an upper coaming panel above the passenger door velcro attachment was found insecure and could block the exit in an emergency. Operators must arrange and pay for the mandated work; the AD references a prior RLD AD.
