Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

The amendment requires Australian-registered Fokker F50 aircraft with tailpipe assemblies P/N F8200-08-401 or P/N F8200-08-403 to follow the technical instructions in Netherlands AD BLA No 89-038 Issue 2 (compliance from 12 Jan 1992). It adds extra inspections for P/N F8200-08-403 and permits a “terminating action” that stops recurring inspections.

Owners/operators and their maintenance organisations bear inspection, repair or modification costs and must obtain and implement the Netherlands AD to remain compliant.
