Plain English Summary

5/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Reims Aviation F406 aircraft (serial nos F406-0001 to F406-0089) to inspect the nose landing gear actuator attach structure using Reims Service Bulletin CAB 00-10 and to fit Service Kit SKRA406-010 before further flight if cracks are found. It sets different initial and recurrent inspection deadlines tied to total hours, landings and calendar time, and ceases the repeat inspections once the service kit is installed.
