Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires operators of certain Fokker F27 aircraft to update the emergency operating instructions painted on exterior passenger doors so the lettering matches the modified door mechanism.

It applies to specified serial-numbered F27s (including several individual aircraft) and matters because incorrect instructions could confuse ground rescuers or crew and delay evacuation; compliance must follow Fokker Service Bulletin F27/11-1 (Rev. 1, 31 July 1978).
