This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of specified Fokker F27 Mk.100–700 (listed serial numbers) to inspect wing-to-fuselage attachment fittings per STORK Fokker Service Bulletin F27/57-77 because stress‑corrosion cracking was found in 7079‑T6 aluminium fittings. Inspections must be completed by 7 December 1999 (effective 7 October 1999). Affected owners/operators bear the cost and operational impact; the AD points to the service bulletin for inspection procedure and any follow‑on actions.
