Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires certain Fokker F27 aeroplanes (specified serial-number ranges) to reduce manoeuvre speed limits and to inspect and, if necessary, repair the wing skin splice at Wing Station 7915 because the skin panels may be below design strength. (Background.)

Operators must implement speed limits by placards or a temporary Flight Manual change (Note 1; Requirement 1), carry out inspections per Fokker SB F27/57-63 Part 1 and perform required repairs per Part 2, by the staged compliance dates (Requirements 2–3; Compliance).
