Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

Owners/operators of Fokker F27 Mk 100–700 aircraft must perform mandatory inspections of the main landing-gear drag-stay inner bores because some tubes have internal drawing defects that could cause structural failure. The rule adds Mk 500s and sets compliance based on landing cycles (urgent for ≥20,000 landings, later for 10,000–20,000), to prevent possible landing-gear collapse.
