AD/F2000/22 - Engine Fire Detection Systems - CANCELLED

This document is an Airworthiness Directive (AD) — a legally binding safety order issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) that applies to aircraft operators.

What it does:

• Cancels a previous safety requirement (AD/F2000/22) that applied to Dassault Falcon 2000 series aircraft.
• The original rule required specific actions to ensure engine fire detection systems were working properly.
• This cancellation takes effect on 5 July 2007.

Why it matters:

• The original directive was only ever intended as a temporary (interim) fix while a permanent solution was developed.
• It has now been replaced by a more comprehensive permanent rule (AD/F2000/26), so this temporary requirement is no longer needed.
