What this does

This document officially cancels a previous aviation safety rule (Airworthiness Directive AD/F100/92) that required specific actions regarding fuel fire shut-off valve actuators on Fokker F100 aircraft. As of 24 September 2009, the old requirements no longer apply.

Who it affects

Owners and operators of Fokker F100 (also marketed as F28 Mk 100) series aeroplanes.

Why it matters

Operators no longer need to comply with the technical requirements of the old directive. Instead, they must follow a newer replacement rule (AD/F100/95) that supersedes this one. This cancellation prevents confusion by ensuring only the current safety standards apply.
