Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Fokker F.28 Mk.0070 and Mk.0100 aircraft to perform a one‑time inspection of each aileron tab drive rod assembly and measure the clearance to the adjacent hydraulic line. If chafing is found or the clearance is under 4 mm, the affected rod or parts must be reworked or replaced following the referenced Fokker service bulletin.

The inspection must occur within 2 years or 4,000 flight hours; any required corrective work must be completed before the aircraft returns to service. It affects aircraft owners/operators, maintenance organisations and parts suppliers.
