Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive requires operators of specified Fokker 100 and Fokker 70 aircraft to remove certain main landing‑gear torque link dampers (identified by part number) and install a modified damper (P/N 23700‑5) in accordance with a Fokker service bulletin. It sets different compliance deadlines depending on damper make and model because investigations linked damper degradation to a landing‑gear separation.
