Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD requires operators of certain Fokker F100 aeroplanes to carry out a physical inspection of the left- and right‑hand cleats at wing rib STA.8200, following Fokker Service Bulletin F100‑57‑018, and to replace any affected cleats before the aircraft reaches 16,000 flight cycles. CASA issued the directive after cracks were traced to incorrect Hi‑lok bolt installation during manufacture.

The work and any parts/grounding time are the operators’ responsibility, potentially causing maintenance downtime and concentrated demand for specified spares and services.
