| Requirement: | Action in accordance with the requirements of ANAC AD 2006-05-07.Note: Embraer Service Bulletins 190-21-0003 Revision 01 and 190-21-0004 original issue, or later ANAC approved revisions, refer. |
| Compliance: | Unless the initial Part I inspection is already accomplished, within 600 flight hours after 10 April 2008. Inspect thereafter at intervals not to exceed 1,200 flight hours; until accomplishment of Part II of the Requirement document, which is required within 6,000 flight hours after the initial Part I inspection. |
| This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 8 May 2008. | |
| Background: | Damage to the smoke seal in the aft avionics compartment has been reported. In the case of smoke in the avionics compartment, smoke penetration into the passenger cabin could occur. |
