Further analysis has shown that damage to multiple clamps may become an ignition source within the fuel tanks. This AD requires the replacement of certain clamps to prevent the unsafe condition from developing. This amendment corrects a typographical error in the P/N of the affected clamps and reduces the compliance period from 12,000 flight hours to 8,000 flights from the original effective date of the original issue of this AD.The original issue of this AD became effective on 5 July 2007. |
