AD/EMB-145/20 - Horizontal Stabilizer Actuator Clutches

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Embraer EMB-145 aircraft fitted with horizontal stabilizer actuators P/N 362200-1007, -1009, -1011 or -1013 to inspect clutch integrity per Embraer Service Bulletin No. 145-27-0082 or later CTA‑approved revisions. Initial inspection must occur within 100 flight hours and be repeated at intervals not exceeding 2000 flight hours. The AD follows reported losses of the stabilizer actuator set point; inspection costs, downtime and compliance decisions fall to aircraft operators, while approval of later bulletin revisions rests with the CTA.
