Applicability:	Model EMB-120, EMB-120ER, EMB-120FC, EMB-120QC, and EMB-120RT aircraft, as identified in Embraer Service Bulletin No. 120-49-0023 Revision 01, dated 30 June 2008, or later ANAC approved revision.
Requirement:	Action in accordance with the requirements of ANAC AD 2008-08-01 Amdt39-1240.
Compliance:	Within 1,500 flight hours or 6 months after 18 December 2008, whichever occurs first.
	This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 18 December 2008.
Background:	Reports were received of corrosion on the APU mounting rods. Undetected corrosion could result in rod failure.
