Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive revokes the earlier AD and changes inspection and replacement rules for electrical wiring and relays that power pitot/static, angle‑of‑attack, sideslip and related current sensors on Embraer EMB‑120 aeroplanes (Serial Nos. 120004 and 120006–120352). It requires a visual inspection within 400 hours TIS, immediate replacement of any overheated items before further flight, and replacement of wiring/relays within 2000 hours TIS if no overheating is found.

Owners/operators must fund and perform the required work in accordance with Embraer Service Bulletin 120‑30‑0030 Revision 01; CASA amended the timing to align with the Brazilian authority.
