Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This mandatory safety order requires owners/operators of specified Embraer EMB‑110 Bandeirante aircraft to install a relay in the propeller auto‑feather system per Embraer Service Bulletin No. 110‑61‑011.

The retrofit must be done within 100 flight hours after 31 October 1978 to correct a defect that could prevent automatic propeller feathering after an engine failure, risking loss of control.
