This AD amends airworthiness requirements for Embraer EMB-110 (Bandeirante) aeroplanes by updating allowable mass‑balance weights for control surfaces and requiring operators to carry out the work specified in Embraer Service Bulletin No. 110-55-021.

Operators must complete the mandated actions within 500 hours time‑in‑service after 31 July 1983; technical specifics and exact weight values are delegated to the service bulletin and the referenced Brazilian AD.
