Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Embraer EMB‑110 series aeroplanes to modify the fuselage near the horizontal stabiliser front attachment for specified serial numbers and to carry out visual inspections of that internal structure on all aircraft, using Embraer Service Bulletin 110‑53‑0019 Revision 6. The measure responds to reported cracks and loose rivets and sets firm compliance deadlines and recurring inspection intervals (tied to 6C checks), so operators must schedule the retrofit and ongoing inspections into maintenance programs.
