Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

CASA requires operators of Embraer EMB-110 aeroplanes (serials 110001–110385) to inspect the rudder pedal main bearing and carry out a prescribed modification per Embraer Service Bulletin No. 110-27-058. Inspections must begin soon after 21 Jan 1983 and recur until the SB modification is done. The measure responds to a reported bearing displacement that could disable rudder control; compliance costs fall to aircraft owners.
