Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

The directive requires operators of J.E.T. PS835 series emergency power supplies to fit a specified temporary placard with a battery-test procedure (if a panel test switch is present) and to carry out a modification per JET Alert SB within set hours‑in‑service deadlines.

It matters because it aims to prevent false indications of available emergency power; operators or their maintenance providers must schedule, pay for, and complete the work within the prescribed compliance windows.
