Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators and maintenance personnel to inspect Eisemann magneto coils P/N H27-958 installed on specified engines for a yellow letter+number inspection stamp and remove coils bearing certain listed codes. Coils with other yellow stamps may remain in service.

It matters because operators bear the inspection and replacement cost, must act within the short compliance window (35 flight hours from 16 May 1969), and rely on visual ID to meet the mandate.
