Plain English Summary

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Eurocopter EC 130 B4 helicopters fitted with a Bendix/King KI 525A Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI) to check the HSI part number and, if it is P/N 066-3046-07, modify the installation per Eurocopter instructions before further flight. It also bars installing P/N 066-3046-07 unless the HSI installation is modified. The steps aim to prevent navigation errors caused by incorrect HSI installation.
