Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of AS 350 B3 helicopters that do not have MOD 072810 (or another approved modification enabling full "NR" indicator lighting) to install an eyebrow lighting strip on the 'NR' (rotor-speed) indicator, following Eurocopter Mandatory Service Bulletin 33.00.17, so the indicator illuminates in both normal and emergency modes. Compliance was required by 30 April 2000; aircraft operators pay for and schedule the work, and CASA enforces compliance under subregulation 39.1(1) of CAR 1998.
