This document cancels a previous safety rule for Eurocopter AS 350 (Ecureuil) helicopters.

Previously, Airworthiness Directive AD/ECUREUIL/36 required specific modifications and one-time inspections to be completed before these helicopters could receive their certificate of airworthiness (the official document saying a helicopter is safe to fly).

Why it matters:

The safety requirements have been removed as of 30 July 2009
Owners and operators of these helicopters no longer need to comply with the previous modification and inspection rules
