Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Owners/operators of Eurocopter AS 350 B, B1, D, D1 and L1 helicopters with main rotor shaft assemblies (P/N 350A37-0003-01 to -05) must replace existing "BC type" planet‑gear cage bolts with stronger "BE type" bolts.

Do the swap at the next main rotor shaft disassembly or within 300 flight hours of rotor‑shaft repair after 12 March 1987. Failure to comply renders the aircraft unairworthy; the change prevents potential catastrophic rotor failure.
