Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This document cancels a previous aviation safety rule (Airworthiness Directive AD/ECUREUIL/121) concerning oxygen cylinders on Eurocopter AS 350 (Ecureuil) series helicopters.

What it does:

Formally revokes the old directive effective 26 September 2006
Replaces it with a new directive: AD/OXY/20

Why it matters: Airworthiness Directives are legally binding safety instructions issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). This update ensures Australian operators follow the current safety standard after the European Aviation Safety Agency cancelled its original emergency directive and issued a replacement.

Who it affects: Operators, pilots, and maintenance organisations responsible for Eurocopter AS 350 helicopters equipped with oxygen systems must now comply with the replacement directive AD/OXY/20 instead of this cancelled rule.
