| Applicability: | Dornier 328-100 aeroplanes Serial Number 3005 through 3047 inclusive. |

| Requirement: | Unless previously accomplished, replace the roll spoiler control rod in accordance with Dornier 328 Service Bulletin No. 328-27-247 dated 19 November 1997.Note: LBA AD 1998-042 refers. |
| Compliance: | Within 30 days after the effective date of this AD. |
| This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 6 July 2006. | |
| Background: | Insufficient clearance between the fork end of the control rod and the bell crank could introduce a bending stress and subsequent failure of the fork end of the roll-spoiler. This can result in reduce controllability of the aeroplane. |
