| Applicability: | Dornier 328-100 Serial Numbers 3005 up to 3098, 3100, 3103, 3104, 3106, 3107, 3109 and 3110. |

| Requirement: | Unless previously accomplished, incorporate Dornier Service BulletinSB-328-76-268 Revision 1 or later LBA approved revision.Note: LBA AD 1998-344/3 dated 11 February 1999 refers. |
| Compliance: | Within 30 days after the effective date of this AD. |
| This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 8 June 2006. | |
| Background: | Due to wear of the power lever cam follower, the flight idle back up system may became inoperative as the micro switches 21 KF and/or 22KF may be open with the power levers are in the flight idle position.This AD requires the incorporation of a modification which is designed to prevent the failure of the flight idle back up system. The referenced LBA AD allowed for inspections prior to incorporation of the modification at a later date; however the date (31 August 1999) for incorporation of the modification has passed before the issue of this AD. Therefore this AD is intended to ensure that the modification has been incorporated. |
