Applicability:	328-100 aeroplanes equipped with Honeywell GP-300 Guidance and Display Controller part number (P/N) 7105327-901.
Requirement:	If not previously accomplished, either modify or replace the Guidance and Display Controller P/N 7105327-901 in accordance with Fairchild Dornier Service Bulletin SB-328-22-219 dated 20 May 1997.
	Note: LBA AD 96-239/2 refers.
Compliance:	Within 30 day after the effective date of this Directive.
	This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 19 January 2006.
Background:	The Luftfahrt-Bundesamt has received advice from both Dornier and Honeywell that Modification A to the Guidance and Display Controller may not have been correctly installed on some units which could prevent the unit’s ‘overheat protection device’ from operating correctly.
