AD/DO 328/2	Alternator Power Cables	13/2005

Applicability:	Model 328-100 series aeroplanes.
Requirement:	If not previously accomplished, carry out the following actions in accordance with Fairchild Dornier GmbH Dornier 328 Service Bulletin SB-328-24-433 dated12 April 2002:
	a. Re-alignment of the alternator power cable retaining clamps.
	b. Installation of protective sleeving on the alternator power cables.
	c. Installation of additional ty-raps on the alternator power cables.
	Note: LBA AD D-2003-084 refers.
Compliance:	Before 31 January 2006.
	This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 22 December 2005.
Background:	Actions required by this Directive are designed to prevent the AC power cables from chafing against the alternator.
