Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of certain Bombardier DHC-8-100 (serials 3–119) with a specific modification and particular PSEU units to inspect and correct the nose landing gear control system per de Havilland Service Bulletin 8-32-70 (Rev B or later).

It fixes faulty gear position indications that could mislead pilots into landing with unsafe gear status, and mandates notifying the regulator so temporary Flight Manual procedures can be removed.
