Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This AD requires owners/operators and maintenance organisations of affected DHC‑3 (Otter) aeroplanes to carry out, immediately, the tailplane trim indicator work specified in De Havilland Canada EB "O" No 21; compliance is mandatory and referenced to Canadian AD 56‑8. It matters because it forces near‑term inspections/repairs and costs (labour, parts, downtime) while delegating technical detail to external documents that operators must obtain and follow.
