Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive imposes an immediate legal duty on the persons or entities named in the Requirement Document to carry out the actions set out in De Havilland Canada Engineering Bulletins O No 17 and O No 18 for certain DHC‑3 (Otter) aeroplanes.

It delegates technical detail to those external bulletins (and references Canadian AD 56‑3), so affected operators must obtain and follow those documents to comply; costs and specific applicability are determined by the Requirement Document.
