Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD requires owners/operators of De Havilland Canada DHC‑3 (Otter) aircraft (S/Ns 2–31, except 24) to carry out immediate corrective work on cargo door handles, performed exactly as specified in De Havilland Canada TNS Otter no. 21. Compliance is "forthwith," so affected aircraft may need prompt grounding, inspection and repairs at the operator’s expense; the AD cross‑references Canadian AD 54‑7 for related guidance.
