Plain English Summary

5/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive applies to De Havilland DHC‑3 (Otter) series aeroplanes and mandates immediate compliance with De Havilland Canada Emergency Bulletin “O” No. 19, cross‑referencing Canadian AD 56‑12. It affects aircraft owners, operators, maintenance organisations and certificated engineers responsible for affected Otters. The directive creates an urgent inspection/repair obligation and related cost, scheduling and administrative burdens, while deferring technical detail to the manufacturer bulletin and the Requirement Document.
