Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

Owners and operators of DHC-2 “Beaver” serials 1–863 fitted with floats must comply with an Airworthiness Directive requiring modification of the rudder pedal assembly per De Havilland Canada Engineering Bulletin B No. 2, Issue 2.

The work must be done before issuance of a Certificate of Airworthiness or when converting from wheels to floats; it prevents loss of directional control during water operations.
