Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive mandates a one‑time physical modification to the aileron centre hinge bracket on most de Havilland DHC‑2 Beaver aircraft, to be done exactly per De‑Havilland Canada Service Bulletin 2/37 Rev C. It affects owners/operators (who must pay and schedule the work) and replaces a prior inspection‑only option after an in‑flight bracket failure, creating immediate maintenance cost and a short compliance window that concentrates demand for parts and labor.
