Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This instrument requires owners/operators and maintenance personnel of De Havilland DHC-2 (Beaver) Mk. II and Mk. III aircraft to inspect—and, if needed, correct—the aileron control cable rigging per De Havilland Service Bulletin No. 2/27 Rev. A, within 100 hours TIS after 30 Nov 1980. It responds to manufacturer findings of incorrect cable tensions; it improves safety but imposes inspection, repair costs, downtime and reliance on the service bulletin for technical implementation.
