| Background: | This unique Australian AD, raised in 1961 against De Havilland Technical News Sheet (TNS) DCH-1 Aust. No. 3 or Aust. No. 6 required a modification after a number of instances of flaps locking in the down position after failure of the flap return spring. Compliance was required forthwith.As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required. |
