Plain English Summary

6/10 complexity

Requires operators of DH 82 (Tiger Moth) aircraft to inspect and, where specified, replace cockpit safety harnesses in line with a British Aerospace technical notice. Owners/operators pay for inspections, replacements and record-keeping; the directive sets near-term and recurring inspection deadlines plus lifing limits for certain part numbers. It follows a UK accident finding that harness webbing can weaken without visible signs.
