This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of De Havilland DH 60 series aircraft to inspect cockpit safety-harness installations and to replace specified harness part numbers per British Aerospace Mandatory TNS CT(Moth) No. 33. The Civil Aviation Safety Authority issues and enforces the requirement.

Operators must do an initial inspection within 10 flying hours (and yearly thereafter) and replace listed harnesses within nine years of installation (or sooner if installation date is unknown). Owners pay for inspections, record-keeping and replacements to address webbing deterioration.
