AD/DH 104/11 - Engine Instrument Arrangement - Modification - CANCELLED

What this does: This document officially cancels a previous aircraft safety rule (an Airworthiness Directive) that required owners of DH 104 Dove aeroplanes to modify their engine instrument arrangements.

Who it affects: Owners and operators of DH 104 (Dove) series aircraft, though the requirement being cancelled was already supposed to be completed by September 1971.

Why it matters: The original safety rule was issued in 1971 to fix a specific issue with engine instruments. Because the compliance deadline passed nearly 40 years ago and all affected aircraft should already have the modification, the Civil Aviation Safety Authority cancelled the directive on 23 October 2008 to tidy up the regulations. It removes an obsolete requirement from the books.
