Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires Douglas DC‑4 series aircraft to have the front anti‑drag mount reworked, mandating compliance by following one of two referenced documents (Douglas SB No. 36 (27 Nov 1946) or ANO 105.1.16.2.5.13, Issue 2). It affects owners/operators and maintenance organisations: operators must arrange and pay for the work and prove compliance, while the regulator prescribes the acceptable methods by reference.
