AD/DAUPHIN/76 - Cargo Hold Upholstering

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Eurocopter AS 365 N3 helicopters fitted with quilted cargo‑hold upholstering (post‑MOD 0725C16) to inspect cargo‑hold fire detectors and, if necessary, modify the upholstering in accordance with Eurocopter AS 365 Alert Service Bulletin No. 25.00.62. Compliance is required within three months of 17 February 2005. Operators bear the cost of inspection and any modification; the Civil Aviation Safety Authority enforces the requirement. The directive follows a finding that quilted upholstering masked two cargo‑hold fire detectors.
