Plain English Summary

5/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Eurocopter AS 365 N, N1, N2 and N3 helicopters to inspect the 9° fuselage frame stretcher support and follow Eurocopter AS 365 N Alert Service Bulletin No. 53.00.43. It sets short, flight‑hour–based deadlines for an initial check and mandates recurring inspections until a flange reinforcement plate is fitted or an approved customised repair is done. Operators must pay for and carry out the inspections and any repairs; the CASA delegate issues and enforces the requirement to prevent crack propagation reported by the manufacturer.
