Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Eurocopter AS365 N-series helicopters fitted with enlarged sliding doors to carry out the inspection/rectification steps set out in Eurocopter AS365N Service Bulletin No. 01.00.49. Compliance is mandatory within 10 hours time-in-service to prevent an incorrectly installed window from detaching and hitting the main rotor. Amendment 1 only updates the referenced DGAC advisory; it does not add new work.

It affects owners, operators and maintenance organisations of the specified aircraft by imposing a short-term mandatory maintenance action.
